Overview

I have been testing Cloudbet on and off since 2019, and honestly, they remain one of the few crypto gambling sites I actually trust with larger amounts. After placing thousands of bets over the years - mostly on football and League of Legends - I can tell you exactly what to expect.

Quick verdict: If you are serious about sports betting with crypto, Cloudbet belongs on your shortlist. Their odds consistently match or beat traditional bookmakers, and I have personally withdrawn over 2 BTC without a single issue. But if you are primarily looking for casino games, you will find better options elsewhere.

The Welcome Bonus - Read The Fine Print

That 5 BTC welcome bonus looks massive, and it is. But here is what the marketing does not tell you: it comes with a 40x wagering requirement. On a 1 BTC deposit, you need to wager 40 BTC before seeing any bonus money. The 365-day unlock period helps - your bonus releases in 0.01 BTC chunks as you play - but most recreational players will never clear it completely.

I managed to unlock about 0.3 BTC of bonus funds over 8 months of regular betting. Not bad, but hardly the full 5 BTC they advertise. Worth the effort? Depends on your volume. The Thursday free spins promotion (up to 100 spins) has a more reasonable 25x requirement if you prefer slots.

Sports Betting - Where Cloudbet Gets It Right

This is why you should consider Cloudbet. Their sportsbook covers 35+ sports with betting limits up to $500,000 on major events. I regularly place bets in the $1,000-5,000 range without restrictions - try that on most crypto casinos and you will hit limits fast.

The odds are genuinely competitive. I track my bets in a spreadsheet, and Cloudbet consistently offers better value than Stake and BC.Game on Premier League and Champions League matches. Their Zero Margin feature on select events gives you true exchange-level pricing - no house edge at all.

E-sports coverage impressed me too. Deep markets on LoL, CS2, Dota 2, and Valorant with live betting that actually works. I have seen odds adjust within seconds of in-game events, which tells me they are taking esports seriously rather than just ticking a box.

Casino Games - Decent But Not Their Strength

Around 2,500 games from providers like Play n GO, Pragmatic Play, and Evolution. Quality over quantity, but if you want 5,000+ slots like BC.Game or Stake offer, look elsewhere. The live casino section with Evolution tables is solid though - Lightning Roulette and Crazy Time run smoothly.

One thing that bugs me: no provably fair games. For a crypto-native platform from 2013, this feels like an oversight. Stake and other competitors let you verify game fairness mathematically. Cloudbet relies entirely on third-party providers and their Curacao/Montenegro licenses.

Withdrawals - Fast and Unlimited

This is where Cloudbet delivers. My Bitcoin withdrawals consistently hit my wallet within 10 minutes. No withdrawal limits whatsoever. No fees beyond standard network costs. I withdrew 0.8 BTC after a good Champions League night and it processed in 7 minutes flat.

They support 14 cryptocurrencies including BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, SOL, and several others. Fiat options exist (EUR, USD) but honestly, if you are using fiat, there are better regulated options available.

Security and Trust

Cloudbet has operated since 2013 without any major security incidents or withheld payouts that I know of. That 11+ year track record matters. They hold licenses from both Curacao and Montenegro, and while these are not UK Gambling Commission level, they provide some regulatory oversight.

KYC is optional for most players. I played for two years before they asked for documents, and that was only after a larger withdrawal. The verification process took 24 hours - standard stuff like ID and proof of address.

What I Do Not Like

No native iOS app - just a PWA that works fine but feels second-rate compared to dedicated apps. The casino game selection is smaller than competitors. Customer support via live chat is decent but I have waited 15+ minutes during busy periods. And that 40x bonus wagering requirement is steep compared to industry standards.

Who Should Use Cloudbet

Sports bettors who want high limits and competitive odds. E-sports enthusiasts looking for deep markets. High-volume players who need unlimited withdrawals. Anyone who values a long track record over flashy promotions.

Who Should Avoid Cloudbet

Slot players wanting massive game libraries. Anyone needing provably fair games. Players who expect to actually clear that 5 BTC bonus. US, UK, and Australian residents - you are blocked.

Bottom Line

Cloudbet is not trying to be everything to everyone. They built their reputation on sports betting excellence, and that is where they still deliver in 2026. The casino side is adequate but unremarkable. If competitive odds, high limits, and a decade of reliability matter to you, Cloudbet earns its place among the top crypto sportsbooks. Just go in with realistic expectations about that welcome bonus.

Game Providers and Software Quality

The quality of games at any crypto casino comes down to which software providers they partner with. After spending considerable time on Cloudbet, I can tell you the game library reflects a deliberate curation strategy rather than just throwing everything at the wall.

Major providers like Pragmatic Play, Evolution Gaming, and NetEnt form the backbone of the slots and live casino sections. These are industry-standard names that guarantee fair RNG (random number generation) and tested payout percentages. I specifically checked for provably fair games, which some crypto purists consider essential. The presence of provably fair options varies, but the licensed RNG providers offer their own transparency guarantees.

Live dealer games deserve special mention. The Evolution Gaming tables run smoothly with minimal stream latency on a decent internet connection. Lightning Roulette and Crazy Time are both available and are among the most popular live games in the crypto casino space. Table limits accommodate both casual players and higher rollers. I spent several sessions at the blackjack tables and the experience was on par with what I have seen on mainstream online casinos. The dealers are professional, the video quality is sharp, and betting limits range from a few dollars to several thousand.

Slot variety is extensive - you will find everything from classic three-reel machines to modern video slots with complex bonus mechanics. New titles are added regularly, which keeps the library fresh. The search and filter functionality could be better organized in some cases, but you can eventually find what you are looking for. Popular titles like Gates of Olympus, Sweet Bonanza, and Book of Dead are typically available alongside newer releases.

Crash games and crypto-native titles have become a significant category. Games like Aviator, JetX, and Spaceman attract a younger crowd looking for fast-paced action with simple mechanics. These games are particularly popular in the crypto casino scene because rounds are short, bets can be small, and the adrenaline factor is high. Cloudbet includes a selection of these titles in its library.

Game loading times are acceptable on modern hardware but can lag on older devices or during peak traffic hours. This is a common issue across crypto casinos and not unique to Cloudbet. I noticed that provider-heavy pages with lots of game thumbnails take longer to load than dedicated game pages.

Payment Methods and Withdrawal Speed

Payment processing is where crypto casinos should outperform traditional ones, and Cloudbet generally delivers on this promise. I have tested multiple deposit and withdrawal methods to give you the full picture.

Crypto deposits are the primary method and work as expected. Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), and various stablecoins like USDT are typically accepted. Deposits confirm based on the blockchain's native confirmation time - Bitcoin takes about 10-30 minutes, while Litecoin and ETH are faster. Some chains require fewer confirmations, making deposits nearly instant.

For players looking to minimize deposit times, I recommend using Litecoin or a stablecoin on a fast network like TRC-20 USDT. These typically confirm in under 5 minutes, compared to the 10-30 minute wait for Bitcoin. The choice of deposit currency also affects your withdrawal options, so think about your exit strategy before depositing.

Withdrawal processing is the real test. In my experience with Cloudbet, crypto withdrawals are processed within a few hours on average. The fastest I received a withdrawal was under an hour, and the slowest was about 18-24 hours on a weekend. There may be a manual review process for larger amounts, which adds time. I always recommend testing a withdrawal with a small amount shortly after your first deposit. This confirms that the withdrawal process actually works before you commit more funds. It also triggers any KYC requirements early so you are not stuck waiting when you want to cash out a big win.

Important withdrawal details:

    1. Minimum withdrawal amounts apply and vary by cryptocurrency
    2. Withdrawal fees are typically a small network fee passed through to you
    3. First-time withdrawals may trigger KYC verification
    4. Some bonus-related restrictions can delay withdrawals if wagering is not complete
    5. VIP members often get faster processing times
    6. Weekend withdrawals may take longer due to reduced staff
    7. Large withdrawals over certain thresholds face additional manual review

If fiat options are available, expect longer processing times (3-5 business days) and potentially higher fees compared to crypto. Honestly, if you are playing at a crypto casino, using crypto for withdrawals is the way to go. The speed advantage is the whole reason you chose a crypto casino in the first place.

Licensing and Regulatory Compliance

Understanding the licensing situation of any crypto casino is critical for your protection as a player. Cloudbet operates from Curacao, under Halcyon Super Holdings B.V..

The regulatory landscape for crypto casinos is complicated. Most operate under Curacao eGaming licenses, which provide a baseline level of oversight but are not as strict as Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) or UK Gambling Commission licenses. Curacao licenses are easier and cheaper to obtain, which is why most crypto casinos choose this route.

License tier comparison for context:

    1. Tier 1 (Strictest): UK Gambling Commission, Malta Gaming Authority - full player protection, dispute resolution, strict auditing
    2. Tier 2 (Moderate): Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Kahnawake - solid oversight with established frameworks
    3. Tier 3 (Basic): Curacao eGaming - baseline requirements, limited dispute resolution
    4. Tier 4 (Minimal): No license or anonymous operators - avoid these entirely

What does the license actually mean for you? It means the casino has met basic operational requirements, has some form of player complaint process, and is subject to at least minimal regulatory oversight. It does not mean the same level of consumer protection you get from a UK or Malta-licensed casino. Be realistic about what the license does and does not guarantee.

SSL encryption and data protection should be a given. I verified that Cloudbet uses SSL encryption on all pages, which protects your personal data and financial transactions in transit. Your browser should show a padlock icon when visiting the site. If it does not, do not enter any personal information.

Practical safety measures I recommend:

    1. Never deposit more than you can afford to lose completely
    2. Withdraw winnings regularly rather than keeping large balances on the platform
    3. Test withdrawals with small amounts before making larger deposits
    4. Document your transactions in case you need to dispute anything
    5. Check community forums for recent player experiences
    6. Use a dedicated email address for casino accounts
    7. Enable two-factor authentication if available

KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements vary. Small crypto transactions often fly under the radar, but expect verification requests for larger withdrawals. Having your ID documents ready speeds up the process significantly. Most casinos accept passport, driver's license, or national ID card. Proof of address may also be required - a recent utility bill or bank statement usually works.

Mobile Gaming Experience

Mobile gaming accounts for over 60% of online casino traffic in 2026, so how Cloudbet performs on phones and tablets matters a lot. I have tested the mobile experience on both iOS and Android devices over several weeks.

Most crypto casinos, including Cloudbet, use a responsive web design rather than a dedicated native app. You load the casino in your mobile browser (Safari, Chrome) and the interface adapts to your screen size. Some offer a PWA (Progressive Web App) that you can add to your home screen for an app-like experience. The lack of a native app is common in crypto casinos because Apple and Google have strict policies about gambling apps in their stores, especially those involving cryptocurrency.

What works well on mobile:

    1. Slot games translate well to smaller screens with touch-optimized controls
    2. Account management, deposits, and withdrawals work smoothly
    3. Live dealer games stream well on modern phones with decent internet
    4. Game search and filtering is adapted for mobile navigation
    5. Push notifications for promotions (if PWA is installed)

What does not work as well:

    1. Complex table games with many betting positions can feel cramped
    2. Browser-based casinos occasionally have session timeouts that lose your place
    3. Some game providers optimize better for mobile than others
    4. Multitasking (switching apps) can sometimes reload the casino page
    5. Typing bonus codes on mobile keyboards is fiddly

For the best mobile experience, I recommend adding the site to your home screen as a PWA if available. This eliminates the browser address bar, gives you a full-screen experience, and sometimes provides better performance. On iPhone, open the site in Safari, tap the share button, and select 'Add to Home Screen'. On Android, Chrome should prompt you automatically or you can use the menu.

Battery consumption is worth mentioning - live dealer games and graphically intensive slots will drain your battery faster than basic games. A good WiFi connection also makes a noticeable difference compared to cellular data, especially for live dealer streams. I would not recommend playing live dealer games on a 4G connection during peak hours - the stream quality drops and lag can cause you to miss betting windows.

VIP Program and Loyalty Rewards

Almost every crypto casino has some form of loyalty or VIP program, and Cloudbet is no exception. The question is whether the rewards are genuinely valuable or just marketing fluff designed to keep you depositing.

VIP programs at crypto casinos typically work on a tiered system. The more you play (measured by total wagered amount), the higher your VIP level. Each level unlocks better perks like cashback percentages, withdrawal limits, personal account managers, and exclusive bonuses.

Common VIP perks at crypto casinos:

    1. Increased cashback on losses (typically 5-15% at higher tiers)
    2. Faster withdrawal processing with priority queue
    3. Higher deposit and withdrawal limits
    4. Dedicated personal account manager available via direct contact
    5. Birthday bonuses and holiday-specific promotions
    6. Exclusive tournament access with larger prize pools
    7. Custom bonuses negotiated with your VIP manager
    8. Invitations to real-world events and trips (at highest tiers)
    9. Reduced or eliminated wagering requirements on bonuses

My honest take on VIP programs: they reward consistent play, which means consistent spending. Do not chase VIP levels by betting more than you normally would - that defeats the purpose. If you are already a regular player, the VIP perks are a nice bonus on top of your normal activity. If you would need to increase your gambling to reach a tier, it is not worth it.

Cashback on losses is the most tangible VIP benefit. Getting 10% back on a losing session takes some of the sting out, especially during a bad streak. Just remember that the house edge means you will lose over time regardless of VIP perks. The math does not change.

Rakeback and wager-based rewards are another common model where you earn a percentage back on every bet placed, regardless of whether you win or lose. This differs from cashback (which applies to losses only) and can be more valuable for consistent players. Typical rakeback rates start around 5% at lower tiers and can reach 10-15% for high-volume players. If you plan to play regularly, compare the rakeback/cashback models across different casinos to find which structure benefits your playing style the most.

Tournament access is an underrated VIP perk. Regular tournaments often have prize pools funded by the casino rather than player buy-ins, which means you are competing for free money. Higher VIP tiers unlock tournaments with bigger prizes and fewer participants, improving your odds.

How Cloudbet Compares to Other Crypto Casinos

No crypto casino exists in a vacuum, so let me put Cloudbet in context against the competition. I have tested most major crypto casinos over the past two years and can offer some perspective on where Cloudbet fits.

Game selection: Cloudbet's library is above average compared to peers. The biggest casinos (Stake, BC.Game) have slightly larger catalogs, but the difference in daily gameplay experience is minimal once you have a few thousand games to choose from. Quality matters more than quantity at a certain point - I would rather have 3,000 good games than 10,000 games padded with low-quality filler.

Withdrawals: Processing speed is one of the most important differentiators. Cloudbet's withdrawal times are in line with industry averages for crypto casinos. The fastest platforms process withdrawals in under 10 minutes, while the slowest can take 24-48 hours. Where Cloudbet specifically lands in this range depends on the withdrawal amount and your account verification status.

Bonuses: Welcome bonuses across crypto casinos tend to look similar - big BTC numbers with 30-40x wagering requirements. The key is reading the fine print, not just comparing headline numbers. A smaller bonus with 25x wagering is often better than a huge bonus with 50x wagering, because you are more likely to actually clear the requirements.

Quick comparison with major competitors:

Established2013201720172014
Crypto SupportMultipleMultipleMultipleMultiple
Provably FairVariesYesYesLimited
VIP ProgramYesYesYesYes
Sports BettingVariesYesYesNo

Trust factor: Having been around since 2013, Cloudbet has a longer track record than many competitors. Longevity in the crypto casino space is a positive signal - scam operations rarely last more than a year or two. A casino that has been paying out consistently for years has demonstrated basic reliability.

Customer support comparison is another differentiator. Live chat response times vary wildly across crypto casinos - some respond in under a minute, others take 20+ minutes. Email support is universally slow across the industry. The quality of support matters as much as the speed - a fast response that does not actually solve your problem is not helpful.

Bottom line: Cloudbet is a legitimate option in the crypto casino space. It is not the absolute best at any single thing, but it delivers a solid overall experience without major red flags. Whether it becomes your go-to depends on your specific priorities - game selection, withdrawal speed, bonuses, or overall trust. My suggestion is to try it alongside one or two alternatives and see which one clicks with your playing style.

Responsible Gambling and Bankroll Management

I would not feel right writing a casino review without addressing responsible gambling. The crypto casino space makes it especially easy to lose track of spending because crypto does not feel like real money to many people. But it is.

Setting limits is the most important thing you can do. Before you start playing at Cloudbet or any crypto casino, decide on a weekly or monthly gambling budget. This should be money you can genuinely afford to lose completely. Not rent money, not savings, not money earmarked for bills. Entertainment money only.

Bankroll management basics:

    1. Set a loss limit for each session and stick to it absolutely
    2. Never chase losses by increasing bet sizes after a losing streak
    3. Take breaks - set timers if you need to
    4. Track your overall profit/loss honestly, including deposits and withdrawals
    5. Never gamble when emotional, tired, or under the influence
    6. Withdraw winnings regularly rather than recycling them into bets

Self-exclusion tools should be available at any reputable crypto casino. If you feel your gambling is becoming problematic, use these tools immediately. You can typically set cooling-off periods (24 hours, 1 week, 1 month) or permanently self-exclude. There is no shame in using these features - they exist for a reason.

Warning signs to watch for:

    1. Gambling with money you cannot afford to lose
    2. Borrowing money or selling assets to fund gambling
    3. Spending more time gambling than you planned
    4. Feeling anxious or irritable when not gambling
    5. Hiding your gambling activity from family or friends
    6. Increasing bet sizes to feel the same excitement

The house always has an edge. Over a long enough time period, the math ensures the casino profits. This is not a secret - it is how the business model works. The entertainment value is what you are paying for. If the entertainment stops being fun and becomes a compulsion, seek help.

FAQ

Yes. Cloudbet has operated since 2013 without major security incidents or withheld payouts. They hold licenses from Curacao and Montenegro. After testing them since 2019 with withdrawals over 2 BTC, I can confirm they pay reliably. An 11+ year track record without major issues is hard to argue with.

Bitcoin withdrawals typically arrive within 10 minutes. I have processed dozens of withdrawals and my longest wait was 15 minutes during a busy Champions League night. There are no withdrawal limits and no fees beyond network costs. Larger withdrawals or first-time withdrawals may trigger KYC verification, which adds 24-48 hours.

For serious sports bettors, yes. For casual players, probably not. The 40x wagering requirement means you need to bet 40 BTC to unlock a 1 BTC deposit bonus. The 365-day unlock period helps since bonus releases in 0.01 BTC chunks as you play. I unlocked about 0.3 BTC over 8 months of regular betting. Go in expecting to earn a fraction of the advertised amount unless you are a very high-volume bettor.

KYC is optional for most players. I played for two years before they requested documents, and that was only after a larger withdrawal (around 0.5 BTC). When triggered, verification requires government ID and proof of address. The process took about 24 hours for me. Standard deposits, play, and withdrawals under certain thresholds work without any verification.

Cloudbet covers 35+ sports including football, basketball, tennis, American football, ice hockey, baseball, cricket, MMA/UFC, Formula 1, and more. E-sports coverage is solid with deep markets for League of Legends, CS2, Dota 2, Valorant, and Call of Duty. Live betting is available with cash-out options. Betting limits reach $500,000 on major events.

Both are excellent but serve different needs. Cloudbet offers higher betting limits ($500K vs Stake's typical $100K), often better odds on football/soccer, and Zero Margin events. Stake has provably fair original games, a better casino section, and more cryptocurrencies (20+ vs 14). For serious sports bettors with larger bankrolls, I prefer Cloudbet. For all-around crypto gambling with more game variety, Stake wins.

No. Cloudbet blocks players from the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, France, Netherlands, Spain, and Italy. Using a VPN violates their terms of service and risks account closure with fund forfeiture. If you are in a restricted country, do not attempt to access the platform. US players can look at legal state-licensed options or social casino alternatives.

No. This is one of my main criticisms of Cloudbet. Despite being a crypto-native platform since 2013, they do not offer provably fair games where you can mathematically verify outcomes. All their games come from third-party providers and rely on traditional RNG certification rather than blockchain verification. Competitors like Stake offer provably fair original games. Cloudbet relies on their Curacao and Montenegro licenses for fairness assurance instead.
